  I am troubled by this synagogue. Engage in using religion in an abusive way in using the worst aspects of organized religion. My parents pray in this congregation and they are happy they are 1,000 miles from their only son who they treated badly in the first place didn't help their son in a very limited way socially, intellectually, in terms of being able to work and support himself and to the degree he could get marriied and now they like to pretend as if they don't have a son and continue the neglect. It also encourages my father in viewing men of a younger generation as competition for him to "save women". It is a very disturbing dynamic. My parents act as if NY is a terrible place even though they lived their most of their life and they have a son that lives there. How can you hate a place that your own son lives. Yet this Rabbi seems to not care, XXXXXX XXXXXX as he gives support as does this congregation to abusive men and fathers. The President as well, XXXXXX XXXXXX, he was very controlling to his only son that also caused learning problems and isolated his socially. He was adopted so he had no allies to prevent this and this was their own egotistical behavior to do this to their own sons and it shouldn't be rewarded or be what "true religion" is about.
